By Road
On entering city, head for Upper Parliament Street or Maid Marian Way. Byron House is located at the roundabout of Upper Parliament Street, Maid Marian Way and Derby Road, next to the Albert Hall.
The nearest multi storey car parks are at Mount Street and on Upper Parliament Street.
By Rail/Underground
Exit from the main entrance and turn right, walk straight ahead until you reach the Broadmarsh Shopping Centre. Cross Collin Street and with the shopping Centre in front of you, turn left onto Maid Marian Way and follow the road to the roundabout. Byron House is on the opposite side of Maid Marian Way
There is a tram link from the Rail Station. Alight the tram at the Royal Centre (third stop from Railway Station); with Starbucks coffee shop on your right, walk straight ahead, Byron House is across the road at the roundabout.
By Bus
From Broadmarsh Bus Station, leaving the Bus Station, join Carrington Street and walk straight ahead to the Broadmarsh Shopping Centre. Cross Collin Street and with the shopping Centre in front of you, turn left onto Maid Marian Way and follow the road to the Roundabout. Byron House is on the opposite side of Maid Marian Way.
From Victoria Bus Station, walk through the shopping centre, on the lower level; exit onto Upper Parliament Street and cross the road at the crossing. Turn right along Upper Parliament Street, proceed ahead, until the roundabout, Byron House is on the opposite side of Maid Marian Way.
Facilities and Accessibility
There are no designated disabled car parking bays at the venue however disabled parking can be arranged in advance by calling the Social Security and Child Support on 0115 947 8993.
Hearing loops are available at the venue.
On both Maid Marian Way and Upper Parliament Street there are a number of coffee shops/snack bars.
Additional Information
Please note the Tribunal venue you will attend for your appeal in Nottingham is on the fourth floor of the building. The venue is accessible and compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act. If you have any special needs, for example sight or hearing difficulties please let the clerk know on arrival. They will ensure they take account of your needs in the unlikely event of an emergency evacuation taking place during your visit.
